My last polish to show you today from Metametics is called Blood & Snow.
When Kas asked me which polishes I'd like to review I told her to surprise me, but with the exception that if she had it, I'd love to review this particular polish. I was stoked when I opened the package and there she was. Even better than I'd imagined. As you can tell, this is clearly my favorite of the three, though they are all some of the best indie polishes I've worn!

And now without further adieu....Blood & Snow:
Metametics describes Blood & Snow as "Inspired by George R.R. Martin's soul-crushing fantasy series, Game of Thrones, "Blood and Snow" is filled with crystalline white glitter, splatted with red."
Nailed it.
I really need to watch that show, I hear so many good things about it.

Red small glitter, red and white hex glitter in multiple sizes and red bar glitters in a clear base. It is essentially the bloody cousin to Connect the Dots in every possible way.
Application was a breeze. Glitters came out wonderfully! My only issue was getting either too much of the white or too much of the red on one nail and having to go back for another coat to balance it out. Not really a problem at all! This polish is SO gorgeous!!
No problem with glitters curling or poking up - it was so well-behaved.
This may indeed be my new favorite glitter top coat. Sorry Lynnderella.
Now that I have worn, removed and thoroughly enjoyed these polishes...here are my final thoughts.
First - something I noticed after removal #1 that I thought was a fluke until 3 more removals proved it was not - these were the EASIEST glitters I've ever removed. I don't know what the deal was, but after doing 5 total mani's with the Metametics polishes, it happened everytime!
Secondly - Love her packaging. I love a good indie polish with a GOOD label. Kas has her labels laminated, which I love. Paper labels bother me, I'm always afraid they will smudge or get something on them to make the words messy (like cuticle oil!).
Third - Formula on these was ALL excellent. No glitter fishing, no glitter sinking, nothing inconsistent whatsoever. Aside from the slight trickiness of applying Airbender, the top coat glitters practically applied themselves and dried in a decent amount of time.
Shipping - Extremely efficient!
Price Point - Average (I believe minis are $4 and full sizes are $10)
Packaging - Great!
Choices - Original! All of the Metametics line of polishes really seem to be things I haven't seen done before. Nothing copycatted, all original!
So what are YOU waiting for?

Those bar glitters look curly but they aren't. Weird reflection.
