Polish Days/SuperBlack/Studs - It's Madness Today!

I have a trio of things going on in this post today.

Firstly - an awesome new Indie polish review - Super Black Lacquers.

Secondly - A review of some new gold studs I got from Born Pretty Store.

And third? It's Polish Days Ya'll!

This post contains:
Super Black Lacquers - Filthy Rich
Born Pretty Store - 1.5mm Gold Round Studs

So it's Polish Days - where one day every month a bunch of bloggers get together and do a themed mani.
This months theme is The Number Five!
While not quite as challenging as last months theme, this one still proved slightly difficult to maneuver ideas around for. So many things can pertain to 5...In the end, I ended up doing a V, the Roman Numeral equivalent of FIVE.

For this mani I've used this awesome new Indie - Filthy Rich - by Super Black Lacquers. A clear glitter top coat filled with holo gold particles and matte black glitters. Intended as a top coat, Super Black states you can achieve opacity in 2-3 coats but I found it far too thin for that. I think maybe 4 or 5 would get you most of the way there.

I'm also using THESE studs from Born Pretty Store - 1.5mm Gold Round studs. You get a TON, like always. You can use these for half a lifetime for personal use. So that's quite a deal at 5.86 and FREE Shipping. See the end of this post for a DISCOUNT CODE as well.

For this mani I started with a base of China Glaze Passion, a neutral gold metallic - then added 2 coats of Super Black Lacquers Filthy Rich - I think they were a match made in golden glorious heaven.

I then added the Born Pretty Studs to the ring finger in a V shape and then on the other fingers I used some larger matte black circle glitters I had previously shown you and added the gold studs to the tops of those.

This is a great example of seeing the gold holographic pigment in this polish, up in the top right corner there. Swoonie baroonie.

So let's review...

Super Black Lacquers - this polish was unreal! Gorgeous goldness and I love the mix of holo and matte black in here, small so it doesnt overpower...perfection.
Find Super Black Lacquers HERE - she does amazing Gltters, Cremes and HOLOS!

1.5mm Gold Round Studs from Born Pretty Store - well...we all know by now you can't go wrong with studs from BPS, they are always awesome and cheap and plentiful. Here is that coupon code I told you about:

And lastly - Polish Days - Check out the other awesome mani's and bloggers involved below:
