It's Time for some OPI! San Francisco Style!

How do you fit 15 polishes in one frame?

I know you guys have already been seeing the new OPI San Francisco Collection popping up all over blogs lately...and possibly already own it or have seen it in the stores...but hey...here's to the 3% of you who don't fit in that mold! Maybe my swatches will show you something you haven't seen yet, who knows...

HOWEVER....These are what you might call 'quick & dirties' - One swatch for each polish - because there were a TON and also because I did art with every one of these polishes as well...which I will be showing you later in the month.

OPI San Francisco Collection

Let's start off with some cremes, shall we?

A Piers to Be Tan - a rich and creamy caramel color. This is very unique in my collection and one of those colors that is almost so ugly its gorgeous. I love it. 2 coats, no top coat.

First Date at the Golden Gate - red-orange verging on brick shade - 2 coats no top coat.

In The Cable Car-Pool Lane - Beautiful purple/burgundy creme. Very vampy and perfect fall into winter shade - 2 coats no top coat.

Incognito in Sausalito - Dark blue-almost-black with the slightest teal lean to it. Mostly I just see a stunning dark dark blue. 2 coats, no top coat.

Keeping Suzi at Bay - nice dusty royal blue. 2 coats, no top coat.

And Liquid Sands!

Alcatraz....Rocks. Yes...hello gorgeous. A dusty blue based glitter texture with hints of gold, green and purple. This is DEEP and COMPLEX. And also drop dead gorgeous. 2 coats.

And a top coated shot.

It's All San Andreas's Fault - a taupe-esque textured matte polish. Love this - perfect! 2 coats, no top coat.

Wharf! Wharf! Wharf! - a great companion to the blues in this collection, a matte texture in almost the same shade as Keeping Suzi at Bay. 2 coats, no top coat.

A few reds:

Embarca Dare Ya - lol. These names sometimes. Color shifting pinkish/reddish with an orange undertone. Hard to describe but not hard to wear - 2 gorgeous coats without top coat.

I Knead Sour-Dough - now maybe it's because I couldn't live my life without sourdough bread, but this polish just begs to be adored. I love it so much. It's this gorgeous shimmery brown with a glowing pinkish/gold undertone to it.  2 coats, no top coat.

Lost on Lombard - a medium-dark brick red. This is within the same family as First Date at the Golden Gate, but it's the darker sister. The bad one! 2 coats, no top coat.

And some of the cooler toned shimmers:

Dining Al Frisco. This one is a conundrum. Gorgeous shade, beautiful application but man, it has serious brushstroking problems. You can't tell though...right? I sponged the 2nd layer on. That is key to polishes like this to make them wearable. And it really is. Silvery baby blue. 2 coats, no top coat.

Haven't the Foggiest - YES! This aint your boring old silver metallic guys! It's got this sort of dark and  slight gold/tarnished quality to it, like your grandmas (or your own!) good silver that never gets polished. 2 coats, no top coat.

Muir Muir on the Wall - A deep burgundy shimmer that color shifts more in the bottle than on the nail. But when it does you might see some orange and possibly green. We've seen it, but this is still nice and application is definitely dreamy. 2 coats, no top coat.

Peace & Love & OPI - Yes. Yes. And more yes. This will do. A KNOCKOUT purplish/blue color shifter that DOES translate on the nail and it's works really well. This was a huge winner for me. 2 coats, no top coat.

All in all I am loving this collection. Even with the massive amount of polish I own, a lot of these are unique to my collection, and the ones that aren't I would most likely keep and lose the dupes because each of these had a flawless application and formula. They are all winners to me!
But of course, if I HAD to pick - Alcatraz...Rocks, A Piers to Be Tan and Peace & Love & OPI would be my picks.

Make sure and check back for my OPI SF Nail Art posts coming later this month!!
