Nail-Art-A-Go-Go - Day 15 - Round and Square

Oh you guys!
I swear I try my hardest not to be one of those "complainer" bloggers, I try to keep my personal biz my own, but sometimes you just gotta vent! I have had the crappiest week! So much snow, power outages, some of the worst endo cramps of my life and drama in the family...I am ready for something good to happen! I did get to purchase some of the new ILNP spring line for Valentines Day though, so it isn't ALL bad, right?!

For todays NAGG prompt we've got Round & Square. This mani I was super happy with and even wore it when we went to see The Pixies a couple of weeks ago. I'm pairing this prompt with a review since I wore a press sample polish as the base, so let's check that out first!

For the base of todays mani I used this GORGEOUS bronzey olive polish from Renaissance Cosmetics. This is Spadina, a beautiful olive drab bronze with gold shimmer.

Formula was flawless here at 2 coats.

This is a classic Missy polish and will definitely be a repurchase for sure when I run out of the mini size!!
Details on where to buy and follow Renaissance Cosmetics will be at the end of this post.

Now for the prompt, I built off the base of Spadina by doing some "armor" studded nails, alternating between round and square studs.

I can assure you that even though these take a long time to do (even very much longer if you have old tired eyes like myself) - the end result is beyond worth the trouble.

I apply these using a non quick dry top coat and then I finish with a coat of top coat just to seal them in.

Longevity wasn't terrible. I lost a few through the night but they still looked pretty good when I woke up the next day!
