Hey peeps!
Happy Saturday - or whatever day you read this!
Today I have another installment of the Untried Polish Challenge - as well as a review!

So today in the challenge it's Warm day. No better chance to do some gorgeous warm neutrals! And since I JUST received a big box of OPI from Littlewoods to review - why the heck not!
OPI - My Vampire Is Buff
OPI - Did You Ear About Van Gogh?
I have been hearing so much hooplah about My Vampire is Buff, I was pretty much over the moon to get it to review! When I pulled Did You Ear About Van Gogh? out of the box right after, I thought hmmm...these may be too similar to warrant having both. I couldn't have been more wrong. It's another clear case of "what you see in the bottle aint what ya get on the nail!"
See?? WAY different! But both, totally awesome!
This mani is super simple to re-create. Paint half your nail with one color and half with another (vertically) - when dry, add striping tape and then paint the opposite colors on each half!
I was in love with these two polishes!!
My Vampire Is Buff took 3 coats to get good coverage but you could do a careful 2 I am sure, it was fine to do one medium coat over the darker shade with no problem also...so its all good - this is a must have polish for everyday as well as nail art!
Did You Ear About Van Gogh? is a beautiful medium tan. It covered wonderful in just one coat, too! And the shine on both of these polishes is very nice!
If you live in the UK - you need to check out Littlewoods! They have a ton of cool stuff to buy and LOTS of awesome nail polish to choose from as well!!

ReplyDeleteWOW! You're not kidding about the noticeable difference between the two! And not only are they both beautiful neutral colors, they both go fantastic together on that design. I love how you did your nails!

ReplyDeleteDont they just look like they were made for each other? Before I striped them and they were just side by side on my nail I kept thinking they looked like 2 delicious flavors of ice cream!
