Nicole by OPI is releasing some new colors into the wild known as their core collection.

And they certainly picked some beauties to turn permanent, come see what I mean...

And they certainly picked some beauties to turn permanent, come see what I mean...
Nicole by OPI is releasing FIFTEEN new polishes to slot into their core collection, you ready to see them?!
Yoga-Then-Yogurt - a white creme with just the slightest hint of cream to it, it knocks the edge of the stark whiteness off and has a fantastically opaque formula - shown here at 2 coats.
Sweet Surrender - a mildly sheer lightest pink crelly formula - 3 coats
That's Putting It Mild - beautiful neutral nude creme shade with great formula again - 2 coats
Be Awesome - a heavy on the base glitter top coat that is full of pastel metallic diamond shaped glitters. Definitely a fun mainstream glitter, but the base is thick and hard to work with so this is best dabbed or placed. Shown at 1 coat over That's Putting it Mild
Macro of Be Awesome
At Least I Pink So - a very dainty baby pink creme. 2 coats
I'll Have the Salmon - perfect peachy shade with a slight hint of shimmer. 2 coats
Something About Spring - the quintessential spring pink creme - reminds me of a blooming garden - 2 coats.
Always A Flirt! - touted as shimmery fuchsia, my camera picked up a red base with stunning fuchsia shimmer. This one was my surprise favorite of the collection - 2 coats.
I Shop Mintage - I'd call this a mint-jade hybrid creme/jelly - it's a knockout. 3 coats
Taupe of My Class - a taupe leaning olive creme with wonderful formula. 2 coats
Teal Me Something New - a very bright turquoise creme, similar in scope to OPI Taylor Blue and OPI Fly. 2 coats.
Emerald Empowered - a mildy frosty duochrome polish that shifts from green to blue to violet. 1 coat over Teal Me Something New
Here is a better shot of the violet shift you can see at extreme angles.
Bottle Shot of Emerald Empowered.
Oh That's Just Grape - very glossy violet creme. Another spring screamer - 2 coats
Fabulous Is My Middle Name - a multicolored string glitter top coat shown at 1 coat over Oh That's Just Grape
Macro of Fabulous Is My Middle Name
This Blue Is So You! - I'd call this "This Blue is So 2013" because this is a color I was all over last year and seemed to be everywhere. No sign of this shade slowing down and I'm ok with that - beautiful and dusty navy blue with the slightest purple tones - 2 coats.
Nicole by OPI formulas are long-lasting, fast-drying, and salon-quality. The 15 new nail lacquers will be available in stores beginning January 2014 for $7.99 each at retailers including select Walmart, Target, CVS, Kmart, Kroger, ULTA, H-E-B, Meijer and Duane Reade locations. In Canada, these shades will be available for $10.99 each at Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart Canada, Jean Coutu, Loblaw, and London Drug.
