I have a sweet treat for you today!
Nicole by OPI recently announced they were partnering up with country megastar Carrie Underwood to release a rather huge lot of polishes. 14 in fact.
Today....I have those to show you - and while the promo shots may have indicated they were a little on the tame side - they are anything but! I found that I quite fell in love with a lot of these!

Today....I have those to show you - and while the promo shots may have indicated they were a little on the tame side - they are anything but! I found that I quite fell in love with a lot of these!
Here is the Carrie Underwood Collection. Pretty beautiful, right?
American As Apple Pie - A classic red with a surprise shimmer. It is pretty hard to see on the nail after it dries, but I'm glad some of it was captured here. 2 coats.
Backstage Pass - A brown based purple/burgundy shimmer. This is drop dead gorgeous. 2 coats.
Carnival Cotton Candy - a medium pink creme with lots of character. 2 coats
Carrie'd Away - a simply beautiful yellow gold full coverage glitter. This is similar to the newer OPI satin glitters - its like a smooth texture. 3 coats.
Color Me Country - this hot pink shade leans ever so slightly salmon. 2 coats.
Fisher Queen - you know you love a polish when you took a ton of pictures of it. That was the case here. This purple shimmer just oozes nighttime glamour. 2 coats.
Goodbye Shoes - a gray-green dusty sort of teal sage. However you describe it, I'm totally sold on how awesome this polish shade is. Creme - 2 coats.
Lips Are Dripping Honey - the name, it made me cringe...but the polish changed everything. Filled with a fantastic amount of gold holographic glitters, its like Easter on acid. 1 coat over Backstage Pass.
Love My Pups - a sheer light pink nude. 3 coats.
Party Bus - a fun glitter top coat with silver holographic hex and flower shaped glitters. I love that mainstream lines are doing shaped glitter, but I still hate how bad the glitter to base ratio is in some of them. This definitely requires a dabbing method. But it's still very pretty and disco ball like. Shown at 1 dabbed coat over Some Hearts.
Sing You Like a Bee - a surprise hit for me. I thought it would be a dupe of the OPI Holiday polish Ski Slope Sweetie, and I suppose it could be, but its TEXTURED! So its essentially a white gold version of the gumdrops polishes. In person this polish is highly distracting its SO shimmery! 2 coats.
Some Hearts - a coral nearly neon shade in certain lights. It seems like on this one, in the shade its slightly demure and then in direct light its FULL ON. 2 coats.
Southern Charm - the perfect mannequin hands nude polish. I bet a ton of you will eat this one up. 2 coats.
Sweet Daisy - gorgeous peach creme. 2 coats.
Overall I was totally won over by this collection. Especially Backstage Pass, Fisher Queen, Lips are Dripping Honey, Goodbye Shoes and (GASP) American As Apple Pie.
