I was very recently contacted by a new website called Cut & Blow (cutandblow.com) asking if I would be interested in receiving some product from them in exchange for a review of their website.
Upon my initial visit to their website, I found it to be quite similar to one alot of you may have heard of before, Coterie.
Basically, Cut & Blow curates collections of products and put them onto a great deal sale for a short amount of time.
It is a members only website, but sign up is a breeze and there was no waiting list when I signed up less than 2 weeks ago.
Here is an excerpt from their website:
We are a members-only site for the finest hair and beauty brands in the world. Our users benefit from sales of up to 90% off that stay open only for a short time. Each sale lasts only for 96 hours and may never return, so members are encouraged to drop in daily.
We like to think of ourselves as a community where customer-experience is everything. CutandBlow is a destination where members discover the world's most sought-after brands in the hair and beauty industry. When your friends ask how you stay looking so flawless and fresh you can invite them to CutandBlow and earn yourself a $5 credit when they sign-up and make their first purchase.
They offer great products, my readers would mostly be interested in the OPI and China Glaze collections they carry, but they also have Smashbox cosmetics and lots of skin and haircare options as well!
As of yesterday they are currently running a sale on the OPI Texas Collection, which has all their great jellies in it! Each of the polishes are only $5 each!!
So now - let me show you what they sent me, and I'll reward you by offering you a chance to win TWO different items at the end of this post.
These polishes weren't sent to review the polishes, merely the website, but I couldn't let the chance slip by to review some OPI's for you, I don't buy them all that often!
From L to R:
White Shatter, Red Shatter, Berlin There Done That, Suzi & The 7 Dusseldorfs and Danke Shiny Red.

White Shatter, Red Shatter, Berlin There Done That, Suzi & The 7 Dusseldorfs and Danke Shiny Red.
I started the shatter mani off by using a combination of Danke Shiny Red and a polish that wasn't sent by Cut & Blow, My Boyfriend Scales Walls, from last years Spiderman collection. The photo shows 2 coats of each color. No top coat.
I then put White Shatter over the red, and Red Shatter over the white.
Kinda cool how you can almost hardly tell which is which!
Close up of the crackle/shatter effect. These all show the shatter mani with 2 coats of top coat over the top.
These last 2 pics show the mani without topcoat, you can get a truer sense of its texture here.
I have never loved crackle polishes, but it has been years since I gave one a chance again, and I didn't hate it guys. Both shatter polishes shattered good and FAST! The Red Shatter went on almost pink and I was worried, but once it shattered it turned red, it was crazy AND awesome. I was really impressed with these.
Here are Berlin There Done That and Suzi & The 7 Dusseldorfs. An edgy plum taupe and a shiny shimmery purple!
Next up I did a little quick and dirty nail art using Berlin There Done That and Suzi & The 7 Dusseldorfs. Both shown here at 2 coats, no top coat.
I took some painters tape and cut out some star cutouts for the purple nail and painted over it with Berlin There Done That. Then i used a dotting tool and the Suzi & The 7 Dusseldorfs to add purple dots to the other nails!
All shown with 1 coat of top coat.
My overall impression with the polishes was outstanding, formulas were great and I was actually glad to see the variety of items they sent me, even more surprised I didn't already own even one of them! I missed the entire Germany collection last year, so this was perfect!
As for their site - you definitely need to check it out for its weekly sales - 5 dollars is a killer steal for an OPI polish, not to mention all of the other bargains they have going on over there!
Now then....here are a couple of giveaway that Cut & Blow are currently running and they've asked me to include my readers - so go enter and good luck!!
