Raise your hand if you are getting way too much rain where you live...
We had two days break and now its back with a vengeance! Our yard (which is on a creek front and back) was completely flooded on Monday and we had to drive up through these crazy back roads to get back onto real roads and it was CRAZy!
I must have been traumatized earlier in life on small windy roads or something, because I did NOT handle it well.
So...how bout some nail talk...this is Day 4 of Tape Week and I'm handling it nicely. I love tape mani's...I rarely have a problem doing them and I really enjoy them start to finish - this one today is a leftover from last weeks Neon Week that I held onto for this week!

 | OMG you guys - HELLO!! How ARE you!?! I like to drop all of my favorites of theme weeks at the front of the week and for some reason, looking back, I should have posted this one first, because I think this one is my favorite. It's one of those manicures that is SO easy and SO fast but the colors/polishes just made this manicure so much more than I think it would have been with, say, non-textures or glittery polishes. You'll see what I mean when you follow me! |

I do feel bad though when I miss a day of posting, but sometimes the days just get away from you! So today is a TUTORIAL! Woot! And if you want a more satin, semi-matte finish:
I found all of the flat top coats to be pretty much identical, and surprisingly enough, I found the same to be true of the more semi-matte formulas to also be near dupes of each other. At least all close enough that you dont need all 6 of these. But I do!
So, yesterday I showed you Cult Nails Living Water. It was painful to my soul to remove it, so instead I added to it. And what I added was, if you can believe it, even more amazing than Living Water itself.
True story.

Ok, so here is Adella and Living Water.
Macro of Sea Lore - Adella. This polish really had me fooled. I had this for a LONG time after winning it in a giveaway last year. Honestly, I never used it because it baffled me as to what to use it with, seemed too sheer to wear on its own. Anyway - its tricky. It has a lightly colored greenish base with TONS of flakies that shift green to gold, then medium hex glitters in a sage green metallic and smaller gold metallic hex glitters!
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK! What!?!? How flippin' awesome does this look over that blue in Living Water? That dark blue base shows off all of the crazy this polish has to offer.
You can see green, gold, orange, blue...so much. So so much.
Shown here at just 1 coat over Living Water and topped with 1 coat of topcoat.
But wait - MATTE?! Shut the front door!
Oh my god, I'm sad now that I have such a small bottle of this polish. Holy moly it is something!

Today I show you the last of my untried Cult Nails polishes - Living Water.
Apparently I saved the best for last because this polish is insane.
I am a huge fan of the super HTF polish Starry Starry Night by Essie. This Cult Nails polish has officially calmed that need.

Macro - This polish is an enticing deep blue jelly with blue, green and holographic micro glitters.
Oh my gooooooooooosh you guys. This polish, sick. It was almost a one coater, but I used two to cover up slight patchiness. It applies like freakin' butter, too.
If the sea and the stars met, oh my lord this would be it. Shown here at 2 coats with top coat.
What words do I have, really? Just look.
Even mattified this polish is the business.
So there you have it. I'm gonna need some more Cult Nails after finally swatching all of the ones I have, which I think I'm at 5 of them now. Not a bad start, but the formula is too good not to own at least a dozen more!

I don't know if people still consider Cult Nails an Indie line, but I do, so she is making another appearance today! And I still have one more Cult polish to you this month as well! Why these sat so long unused is beyond me.

Pure Ice - Alter Ego
Look here! Two super pretty ladies paired up today! Pure Ice Alter Ego and Cult Nails Let Me Fly.
Let Me Fly is a gorgeous blue leaning green with a stunning flakie shimmer. Slightly iridescent but totally fantastic.
How bout that? The Cult Nails polish and the Pure Ice polish covered fully in two coats, but both managed to cover the other in one coat, thankfully!
Formula on both of these polishes was awesome!
So it's pretty straightfoward that I've done yet another tape mani here - this time with striping tape in a star pattern.
Finished it up with a coat of Out the Door topcoat. Bam.

So in one of the nail groups I'm in on Facebook, we had a challenge this weekend to post our most and least expensive polishes in our stash.

| Least Expensive - Cult Nails Manipulative. But wait, isn't Cult Nails a $10 polish? |

| It is...but not if you shop on Copious with credits! This polish only cost me ONE CENT using my Copious credits a few months ago. |

| I consider this polish a mint blue with shimmer. The shimmer does not translate as well to the nail, but it's a beautiful polish - this is 2 coats, no top coat. |

| Raindrops is a sheer grey with tons of white flakies. I layered two coats here over Sinful Colors Slate, because quite honestly, I did NOT want to waste this using it on its own. It seriously is so much more amazing in person. |
