I may or may not be cheating on this one.
I made this mani for a guest post but I've not featured it here...and because it's been a crazy weekend it's really this or nothing - so today is Gradient Day on the 30/31 Day Challenge - here is mine!

For this gradient I used A England Saint George and Catrice Dirty Berry. I have a tutorial HERE on how to do this flawless looking gradient (it's even a video tutorial!)

Then I stamped over the gradient using Konad Special White polish and various tattoo themed stamping plate images. This sparrow is from Q1 Konad. Stamped using Saint George and Dirty Berry under the white stamping.

Gangsta!

Thanks for looking - check out the rest of today's gradients:

Yes, Gradients ARE everywhere. I even see them all over Facebook and Instagram now...but by people who aren't crazy nail bloggers like me.They don't seem to be going away soon, and for that I am thankful because I love how they look and I love how easy they are. And I love that every time I do one, it looks better than the last one.Needless to say, I definitely was hopeful that Gradients would win this weeks challenge vote and they did!
So...as I was doing this gradient, I took some video of it and am "hoping" to make a tutorial from it. With that said, this will be my first time so I'm trying to find some software to edit it...it may show up on the blog, or I may not get it figured out - if you do video tutorials or have knowledge in this area - please feel free to leave me any tips!

For this mani I used A England Saint George and Catrice's Dirty Berry.NOW you know it's gonna be awesome, right?Right.

I know...it's like photo overkill. But you can't just take one photo of a holo polish. You absolutely can't take just one or two of an amazing holo gradient, even more if it's an A England holo!I used my standard gradient technique, painted on the sponge and stamped across, then up and down to blend. Like I said, hopefully I'll have a video on it soon.

So the other day I posted a dotticure I did with a sponged gradient base of 2 holos.

It was pretty awesome and I'd really wished almost as soon as the first dots went on that I'd have taken a photo of the holo gradient. Oops.

So I did one better, and I gradiated ALL of the holos I have!

Teal Tuesdays - Glitter Freestyle!

It's TEAL TUESDAY, ya'll!This weeks challenge is Glitter Freestyle!Any chance to use glitter, I'm all over it. Then I go to take it off and I curse profusely!I was trying to figure out the best use of glitter I could come up with when I remembered I had a bunch of tiny jars of loose glitter hex's I bought on ebay a couple of months ago.So I whipped that out and chose a cobalt small hex and a larger iridescent aqua hex. Then I spilled an entire jar of golden yellow hex glitters so I decided to use a few of those that I couldn't scrape back into the jar.
This is picture heavy and I will tell ya at the end what else I used for it. Enjoy the glitteratti.

Did you like it? I'm so enamored of this that I'm keeping it on to wear to the Reverend Horton Heat show tonight!

Used -

Base - A England Saint George

Tips - Loose glitter hex's

Gradiation - Deborah Lippmann Across the Universe

1 Coat Gelous

2 Coats Seche Vite

Still a litte bumpy from those loose hex's, but its bearable, and that's saying something because I am a chronic picker!
