Ruby White Tips - It's The Bomb Yo!
Ruby White Tips - Breaking Bronze
Ruby White Tips - That Blue Stuff
All swatches shown with no top coat, except for It's The Bomb Yo!
An Ocean Full Of It. A gorgeous blue shifting to green shimmer polish with tiny glitter particles and hints of gold.
Lydia: "Hey! You still need methylamine, don't you? Right? You wanna talk methylamine? Then tell your partner to stop threatening me, and let's talk."
Walter: "Talk about what? You heard. You can't even get us a single barrel."
Lydia: "Who said anything about barrels? I'm talking about an ocean of the stuff."
This was a stunner! It applied awesomely and full coverage at 2 coats.
It's so perfectly ocean-like in its blue to green shifts, don't you agree?
i don't think I even have anything like this, but that is usually the case with Ruby White Tips, she really strives to make things you've never seen before.
Breaking Bronze - a peachy colored jelly with gold shimmer/microglitters. It shifts from gold to peach to pink. This was a fan named polish and it's just perfect!
This polish is AMAZING! I admit it's not the best color for my skin but I love it, the finish, the color, it's all just gorgeous! It's got an almost foil like finish once it dries down, as you can see below.
And look at all of those different hints of colors you can see in there!!!
As the polish that is practically the namesake of the collection, it has a lot to live up to, and it does well!
Cleptomaniac! Best name ever award. If you watch the show, this should be a no brainer.
Marie loves the color purple, and nearly all her household and clothing items are various shades of purple.
At Skyler's baby shower, she gives her niece-to-be a hugely expensive jeweled baby tiara. Skyler attempts to return this gift to the store and is detained and nearly arrested because the tiara was stolen
Another huge win in this collection is Cleptomaniac. It is a purple with a deep, glowy pink shimmer that is anything but hidden!
It applied dreamy at 2 coats and dried very quickly!
See that gorgeous shimmer? So yummy.
It's The Bomb Yo!
A massively awesome array of sea green and blue glitters in a heavy silver shimmer base.
I love Jesse Pinkman. He is such a goofball who always seems to be getting his butt kicked or messing something up, but he's so charming in a weird white kid thuglife white trash kind of way.
He loves to refer to his "cooking" and his "product" as "the bomb"...
Exhibit A:
Jesse: No. You flunked me, remember? You prick! Now let me tell you something else. This ain't chemistry – this is art. Cooking is art. And the shit I cook is the bomb, so don't be telling me.
Exhibit B:
Jesse: It may be blue, but it's the bomb.
Exhibit C:
Jesse: What? No way. I gave out samples and everyone said it was the bomb.
This is 1.5 coats of It's the Bomb Yo! over blue polish.
The silver shimmer base is heavy but perfect for this design.
The formula was great, I was able to easily retrive all sizes of glitter - though I will add that I spoke to Laura the other day and she did let me know that she is adding extra of the big circles because I guess some people had issues getting them out. I dug for two but the others came out naturally. Above is with top coat.
And this is the bomb matte!
That Blue Stuff - the alias of the "product" Jesse and Mr. White make.
A knockout bright blue jelly with silver microglitters.
This was 3 coats and was the sheerest of the group but was no problem. It has a great formula that kept it thin and it dried quick for three coats!
Again, I don't own a thing like this! How gorgeous is that finish?
This is a great companion to the other blues in this collection and I think all three of them used in a fun nail design is in order now!
So now for the details!
This full collection of 10 polishes will be going up for sale this Friday, September 13th!
To keep up with the exact time and where...follow:
China Glaze - Goin' My Way?
Born Pretty Store - 3D Gold Stickers/Decals
Ruby White Tips - Hail to the Holo
Ruby White Tips - Jane's Lemming
Ruby White Tips - Math Sucks
Ruby White Tips - Side-Tracked
First up is a new Holographic Top Coat from Ruby White Tips - Hail to the Holo.
When I was chatting with Laura, the creator of RWT, she told me it was THE BEST holo ingredient she had ever come across. I am inclined to agree.
I'm showing you Hail to the Holo over China Glaze Goin' My Way, because quite honestly, I have been in dire obsession to get my hands on a chocolate brown holo. My look...is over! How awesome is this top coat??? I left the middle finger without so you could see how the top coat affects the base color, but if anything it only enhances it! She threw this in I think as not something to review but just to try out and see what I thought of it, and man, I need a big one now...
Oh chocolate rainbows, how do I love thee?!
The thing that most wowed me about this top coat is the fact that these are indoor pictures. Holo is usually rather shy under my lamp, but this one wanted me to feel its presence.
Here is the link to the listing for Hail to the Holo - because you need it NOOOOOW.
Next up we have Jane's Lemming - a really unique flash polish that has a neutral/nude base with blue/violet shimmer.
These are the types of polishes I die over. I'm not a huge "have to have all the holos!" or omg a duochrome! but give me a flashing shimmer polish that has a unique color combination and I WILL SWOON. This was just 2 coats and no top coat - super delightful formula.
I am so into doing some blue art or maybe some stamping over this one in the future - SO GORGEOUS!
Here we have Math Sucks. What a hilarious name! I always loved math in school....yes, its true, I have ALWAYS been a weirdo. Here we have a pinkish red jelly with dare-i-say STUNNING purplish/aqua shifting microglitters and even the occasional black glitter seems to pop up for a cup of tea. I don't know if it's accidental or on purpose but I love it! It makes it feel a little more fruity,
This was 3 coats with a top coat. The first layer goes on really sheer and you think to yourself...oh shit why didn't I layer this one? And then you're like, oh well, too late now, just go with it. And then you're like, man I'm glad I'm so smart.
Got a little nail line showing, but sometimes thats nice and sometimes some people like it. I can dig it on occasion, and this juiciness is that occasion! Great formula again! Gorgeous top notch shimmer and color palette!
Now I am also throwing in a bonus art I did using Math Sucks! I got these 3D gold decals from Born Pretty Store to review awhile back and I thought the contrast of a classy gold design over a fun jelly polish would be interesting. I kind of loved it. Alot.
Right?! I am OBSESSED with vintage wallpaper, flocking, damask, all of it...so I HAD to have these decals for these girly designs! But I mean you get a ton of stickers on that sheet, and its only $4.51!
These aren't water decals but actual stickers, that are kind of a big deal to get off the page but have such good adhesion that once you apply them, you get why it was a slight hassle. And they don't have those annoyingly ugly sticker edges either. Win.
If you like the stickers - you can use my discount code at Born Pretty Store to save 10% - it's MG10L91
And lastly - here is Side-Tracked - a cement grey base with purple shimmers - the sister to Jane's Lemming!
Another 2 coater here, great flow to this polish, gorgeous color you really have to see to appreciate!
Kind of like a covert spy - you think it's one thing but then it's quite simply something else entirely!
Laura is knocking fantastic polishes out of the park ALL THE TIME.
And she has got some great works in progress (i know of 2 spectacular ones coming VERY soon) - so make sure and check her shop out, and follow her, and all that internet stuff you do when you like a thing!
**some items in this post were sent to me for free by the company or their PR firm in exchange for my honest review**
I'm going to preface what I'm about to say by saying that I love ALL of the indies I get to review. Every one is different and unique in their own special and beautiful way.
Now that thats out of the way - holy freaking shit you guys - look what I have to show you today!
Talking back and forth with Laura of Ruby White Tips, I had a few good laughs and talking polish was just a bonus. She sent me a few of her creations to show my readers and I really am not only excited to show you what I did with them, but also just to show you how incredibly awesome they are!
This is beyond pic heavy - so get ready.....

Here is what you have coming to you.
From Left to Right:
Kick Ass Top Coat
Pussy Wagon
Man Eater

First up is Kick Ass Top Coat - and I'm showing it to you two different ways. First up is in a jelly sandwich with Revlon Fashionista as the base and Zoya Frida as the jelly top level.

Oh glorious Kick Ass Top Coat! Ingredients for this polish include spectraflair, silver, black and charcoal holographic glitters and mixed colored flakies! Holy jamolies - it's like Christmas Day on serious acid. It is in a clear base and the glitter to base ratio would not make this a polish you could wear alone, hence the name Kick Ass TOP COAT.

So I started with 2 coats of Fashionista, then 1 coat of Kick Ass, then 1 coat of Frida. In person it definitely had more of an Atlantis (gorgeous discontinued China Glaze polish) feel but I think the top jelly coat of Frida got a little lost in these photos.

Regardless, still gorgeous and full of bling! This top coat is pretty smooth as is, I only used a standard top coat on top and no bumps.

There are so many colors going on in this glitter, but not in a clashy way. It's truly just gorgeous!

Next I'm using Kick Ass over Sinful Colors Matte Nirvana, a dusty brown that is actually not matte. Yeah...no clue there.

Oooh lala! Yeah baby! I think holo top coats always shine best over something totally unexpected like a brown!

So much rainbow goodness you can really pick up the different colors of this polish in this shot. I used 2 coats of Matte Nirvana followed by one coat of Kick Ass and 1 coat of Color Club 0-60 Top Coat.

This makes me want to get out all of my brown polishes and put Kick Ass over them!

For good measure - here is a hand shot of both manicures using Kick Ass Top Coat!

Next up is Man Eater. When Laura asked me if I would like to pick the colors I received, this was on my list. I know what you're thinking. It turns out the longer I seem to blog the more I find myself liking the things I never did. I mean, 2 weeks ago I used crackles, and now reds?!?! It's true, give me a red like this and I'm in love.

Man Eater Macro. A medium red jelly base with color shifting flakies! I mean dammit, there is purple in there! Holy crap! And some kind of microshimmer/pearl, possibly red or pink...insane nonetheless.

Man Eater shown at just 2 coats. The crazy thing about this polish is that if I wasn't a blogger and my nails weren't under macro scrutiny, I could have gotten away with 1 coat of this. For serious. The second coat showed almost no difference at all, except to just class it up more.

Can you see the fire in this? Not only does it shift to gorgeous warm orange and copper shimmers, but you can definitely see the purple and pink cooler tones in it too. It's bad ass, period.

Swoon. One coat of top coat to finish this off.

You know it's not a party til it gets matted!

The thing that caught my eye as soon as I pulled these pics off of my camera was that this seemed to look alot like the Layla Soft Touch polishes when it's matted. Thats awesome since I've yet to get any of them but am constantly being taunted by them.

My last goody to show you is Pussy Wagon. Yes, that is what I said. This polish is from the Kill Bill Collection, so if you're familiar with that film, you know whats goin' on here! As you can see, I'm pairing it up with some simple black and white, both from Sinful Colors.

As opposed to a macro, I opted to show you a close up bottle shot so you can really enjoy the color shift in this polish. This polish has a red/pink to gold/copper to purple color shift. It really just depends what else is in its atmosphere.

I tried a bunch of different color combinations before settling on this one. Let's face it, most people throw a black under a duochrome anyway, right? So how about seeing it on both sides of the spectrum? Here I have black and white base nails, then I applied striping tape and 1 coat of Pussy Wagon over each nail.

This polish coats well, only 1 coat shown here over the black and white polishes. So not only can you see the shifts available and how they change over different base colors, but you can see the huge difference in color between the areas with and without Pussy Wagon.

This is shown with 1 coat of 0-60 top coat by Color Club.

For good measure, here is a shot with flash.
So...so much fun, sad to see it end. What did you think of these crazy awesome polishes?!?!
