Heeeey!! Today I have some cute nail art decorations to share with you - since I'm still battling the sickies I will keep it short and sweet - let's go!
Ok - well let me re-phrase that - it's Sherlock Day in the USA!
I realize a lot of you have already seen the whole season, but it's just starting tonight over here, and unlike most things, I decided to wait and NOT download it and watch it organically.

Today starts a new challenge!
It's a short little 5 day one - about the old british tv show Absolutely Fabulous.
I used to LOVE this show so much back in the day, and a few weeks ago something reminded me of it, and I thought it would make a FANTASTIC challenge!
The 5 days of prompts feature all of the outrageous characters as well as some of the more subdued - Edina, Patsy, Bubble, Saffron and Mother!
Here it is, Day 2 of Digit-al Dozen Black and White week. This isn't exactly how I intended this mani to go...but sometimes when I have ideas for stamping in my head, they get changed when I see a different plate than the one I was after and the light bulbs start turning on. I have this awesome MoYou plate that has random borders on it, it seems weird but the minute I saw it, I had to buy it. And then it sat in waiting...when I dug through my plates looking for a floral design, I saw this plate and decided this was the direction I was meant to be going in.
Sometimes on these prompts you have to draw your own conclusions, so this could be a shade, or a specific polish? Why not both!?
So I dug through my keyword list, which is not 100% accurate because sometimes I can't fit everything in there I would like - but I found that my most used polish was Zoya Dovima, and my most used color was Pink.
So I took Dovima and I paired it with one of my favorite pinks, Nicole by OPI Still Into Pink, which also happens to be the same finish, a sparkly matte. I've also used a MoYou London plate for this mani - Pro Collection 04.
I only used these two polishes, even for the stamping. I wanted to keep the finishes all matching. But you can definitely see how the pink changes when its stamped over black. Most polishes stamp poorly over black though so I was expecting this, I like it, even if it didn't really match the accent nail!
Pretty straightforward - both the roses and the cameo design are off of the same plate - and the mani was finished using Out the Door Top Coat.
