Hey loves!
Happy almost Eastertime/Good Friday!
I have a special review today - courtesy of the fine people of BB Couture, I am showing you 5 of the new polishes in their Pastel Bunnies collection!
And at the end - a cute little Easter mani I did with them all!
Polishes In This Post:
BB Couture - Bunny Bum
BB Couture - Honey Bunny
BB Couture - Snow Bunny
BB Couture - Bunny Boo Boo
BB Couture - Cotton Tail
How cute are those names?!?!
From Left to Right:
Honey Bunny
Snow Bunny
Cotton Tai
Bunny Bum
Bunny Boo Boo
This is Bunny Bum. A pastel peach with shimmer so hidden it hardly reads on the nail,. But it does make the polish apply a lot nicer than a straight cream polish. Shown here at 3 coats, no topcoat.
Bunny Bum - 3 coats, no topcoat.
Bunny Boo Boo - a lavender pastel that covers in 2 coats. No formula issues here either, this was the easiest to apply out of the 5 I tried and just gorgeous. 2 coats - no topcoat.
Bunny Boo Boo - 2 coats, no topcoat
Honey Bunny - pastel yellow creme. This one, like almost every yellow on the planet, was streaky and troublesome til the end. Shown here at 4 coats with no topcoat.
Not to say it's bad, I love a good yellow, but it's just your typical streaky formula yellow. Still good for nail art.
Honey Bunny - 4 coats, no topcoat.
Snow Bunny - pastel pink creme - adorable! While this may not be all that unique, it has a good formula and I love the color! Shown here at 3 coats, no topcoat.
Snow Bunny - 3 coats, no topcoat.
Cotton Tail - pastel pistachio green creme. Love! This polish had a good formula, mild streaking but you know the drill..pastels. Shown here at 3 coats, no topcoat.
Cotton Tail - 3 coats, no topcoat.
Out of the bunch, I'm not sure if I could even pick one favorite. They are all gorgeous pastel shades, perfect for spring. Nothing groundbreaking, but if you don't own any pastel polishes, these would make great additions to your collection!
Now let's check out a simple little watercolor Easter mani I did using all 5 colors:
I started with 2 coats of Honey Bunny to have a nice base color, then i dropped on all 5 shades in random blobs on my nail and took a piece of saran wrap and smooshed it down on my nail, peel it up and VOILA! Instant tie dye/watercolor business!
Then I added Fingerpaints Motley flakie and a coat of Nubar White Polka Dot, followed by Butter London Matte topcoat!
You can find this collection of BB Couture polishes HERE, as well as many, many more awesome shades!
