It's Red Week! Me and a few lovely ladies are having a red week on our blogs, you can check those honies out at the end of this post...
To kick off Red Week - I am doing a comparison post between two reds I had in my stash that seemed nearly identical when I pulled them out. What are the chances, I have 7 red polishes total and 2 are identical? Well, if you're Missy, chances are pretty damn good...
My final thoughts on these...the Ruby Kisses Ruby Slippers is more of a red, with some pinkish/fuchsia tones. The Kleancolor polish is clearly orange based red and much warmer. Both of these swatched at 3 coats with no top coat, both dried slightly gritty, the Kleancolor dried slightly more gritty. Both have a gorgeous jelly formula!
My pick is undoubtedly the Ruby Slippers, I am not a fan of orange-reds!

Kleancolor Golden Nightmare (yes, as a matter of fact I did buy this for the name alone!) - 1 coat no top coat
Kleancolor Holiday Jingle - 2 coats over Metallic Green, no top coat.

I don't imagine you noticed, but I had to take a couple of days off from blogging and the world in general. I have a weird hormonal disfunction, coupled with endometriosis, so every now and then I am set out of commission with terrible childbirth-labor-like cramps. No fun.

Kleancolor Metallics are some of my favorite polishes. I normally only use them for stamping, which they are SUPERB for, I've hardly used them for straight up manis, and they really do look amazing! Most are one coaters (except metallic white which is very sheer in comparison).

If you didn't know, and if you do any stamping, Kleancolor Metallic polishes stamp remarkably well.
They are all one coaters and are just stunning in person!
They leave a nice satin sheen pre-top coat.
